Background

T.O.S.C.A. (The Trusted Open Systems Connectivity Alliance) is an association of some of the leading companies in the Computing and Telecommunications industry. Formed over five years ago the association seeks to address the specific requirements of the Public Sector market place. T.O.S.C.A. aims, through a series of one-day conferences, to put the key personnel involved in setting strategy and procuring product directly in touch with the major companies operating in the U.K.

T.O.S.C.A. now runs over twelve One-Day conferences and exhibitions annually reaching personnel from Health, Education, Central Government, Local Government and the M.O.D. During last year 1,132 delegates attended T.O.S.C.A. events which covered a wide variety of topics from many major companies. The main focus of the association is latest developments and the leading edge of technology. Where possible we work with some of the key I.T. bodies in the Public Sector in reaching the appropriate audiences and covering the major issues, organisations such as the CCTA, DGICS, NHS Supplies Authority, NAITFE and ACPO (Technical & Research Committee).

T.O.S.C.A.'s goal is to keep the Public Sector informed of the latest developments with factual guidance and demonstration but without the hard sales emphasis.
